It’s hard to distinguish between a fizzy burp that brings water to your eyes, or if it’s your emotions bubbling up to splash water onto your once dry eyes. I’m really struggling to find out which one it may be. But the fact that I miss home has not changed. My purpose on this earth has changed quite a bit though. Instead of living my day to work, drive, drink pop and toss and turn in bed, I am switching gears and sleeping to work for the kingdom of God and let God determine my days. At least I am trying to reach that point in life. I hear that it’s a constant battle, which makes me feel considerably better. YWAM was challenging me to trust in God more, and I’m coming to the realization that this task of trusting God on providing for my needs whether they be snacks, finances or what my plans will be for the year to come. He is showing me that my passion for a Cafe/Venue is coming more and more realistic every day that passes here at YWAM. Every day that I wake up in my bunk bed, underneath my fluffy, blue, down-blanket (that keeps even the chillest nights quite toasty.) he brings another piece of the puzzle to my attention, and I find it, and clip it into place. Woah! A whole new demention to my dream that I didn’t realize! We dream in such 2D details, but he helps us realize our dreams can become 3D. So the puzzle pieces must be coming from under my lumpy pillow. No wonder it’s lumpy! Regardless of my lumpy pillow or not, the truth of the matter still stands. God has shown me that there are Cafe opportunities in YWAM to possibly run the cafe in the base, at Herrnhut, Germany. Or to even work hand and hand with Pick A Pocket Ministries! Which is an organization that helps raise awareness for the impoverished and those whom experience injustice. They are thinking about starting a cafe/venue in either Sashen, or Muchen, Germany. They would also have a gallery floor and a Hostel floor for people to stay and be well educated about those who are in poor conditions. So many things phenomenal things are happening. But I must run along so I can get my visa picture for Ethiopia before the shop closes!
God bless you,
