It's very strange to have your eyes opened and your spirit sensitive.
When you have God on your side, and are worshipping him, things that I may had never considered in my humanly mindset, come in revelations. You may be asking silently inside, "What do you mean, Malcolm?" Well don't worry, I'll tell you. As day 3 of Christmas break in Muchen came to a close (After spending a marvelous day in Salzburg, Austria, with Mikey, Matt, and Josh.) I went for a stroll through the lit streets of Muchen, and started praying to God, "Lord bring fire to this city." and while I was doing so, I felt like he imparted a bit of his burning desire to bring more change to this city. Although it is very prosperous and gorgeous, the hearts of the people in Muchen are broken and missing the vital piece to life that we have. God. But I highly encourage y'all to just pray through-out your day about your day, and just the city you may be in for Christmas, whether that be your home town, or a place you're visiting. God will impart some of his heart for the broken hearted.
I've realized how empty my days can be when I don't make Him the center of it all. When the Holy Spirit is invited into your heart to do what he may will, it's so much more uplifting and encouraging. Please be praying for the generation on the rise, that we will have more of a heart for the Lord.
But I think you may also want to know what has happened in these past couple days, eh?
Day 1 - We travelled for 10 hours to get to Muchen, and took many connecting trains and ran around like dismantled chickens. But through all the chaos, the peace of the Lord was pretty well on all of our hearts. But there was still a bit of stress, naturally. But after a 12 hour travel experience, we finally made it to our Hostel. After we got our bags securely put away in a locker, we watched a bit of tele, and crashed on our beds. K.O. Out for the count.
Day 2 - On Sundays in Germany. It's a day of rest. No. Not like America. Things are NOT open on Sundays. It is a legitimate day of rest. So on this day, we just went to the only places that were open: The Christmas markets. Those were pretty cool, but nothing really struck our fancy, so we just went back to the hostel and watched more tele. After a couple hours of that, we went and got some dinner. Food coma. K.O. Out for the count.
Day 3 - Woke up early after our stomaches processed the food, and our heads processed the dreams. We bolted out the door with our cameras and warm coats. We travelled for two hours and made it to Salzburg, Austria, and boy oh boy was it a sight! The mountains were absolutely breath-taking compared to the Rocky Mountains. :P But we did about 7 rounds of Christmas markets and a couple rounds of food consumption. We walked lots, rolled snowballs, and threw them at passing pedestrians. After all was said and done, we came back to enjoy the comforts of Muchen, but eventhing was closed. And that's where God's burning passion kicked in on the walk, and inspired me to update you guys.
So thank Jesus for this long update.
Have a blessed evening.

It’s hard to distinguish between a fizzy burp that brings water to your eyes, or if it’s your emotions bubbling up to splash water onto your once dry eyes. I’m really struggling to find out which one it may be. But the fact that I miss home has not changed. My purpose on this earth has changed quite a bit though. Instead of living my day to work, drive, drink pop and toss and turn in bed, I am switching gears and sleeping to work for the kingdom of God and let God determine my days. At least I am trying to reach that point in life. I hear that it’s a constant battle, which makes me feel considerably better. YWAM was challenging me to trust in God more, and I’m coming to the realization that this task of trusting God on providing for my needs whether they be snacks, finances or what my plans will be for the year to come. He is showing me that my passion for a Cafe/Venue is coming more and more realistic every day that passes here at YWAM. Every day that I wake up in my bunk bed, underneath my fluffy, blue, down-blanket (that keeps even the chillest nights quite toasty.) he brings another piece of the puzzle to my attention, and I find it, and clip it into place. Woah! A whole new demention to my dream that I didn’t realize! We dream in such 2D details, but he helps us realize our dreams can become 3D. So the puzzle pieces must be coming from under my lumpy pillow. No wonder it’s lumpy! Regardless of my lumpy pillow or not, the truth of the matter still stands. God has shown me that there are Cafe opportunities in YWAM to possibly run the cafe in the base, at Herrnhut, Germany. Or to even work hand and hand with Pick A Pocket Ministries! Which is an organization that helps raise awareness for the impoverished and those whom experience injustice. They are thinking about starting a cafe/venue in either Sashen, or Muchen, Germany. They would also have a gallery floor and a Hostel floor for people to stay and be well educated about those who are in poor conditions. So many things phenomenal things are happening. But I must run along so I can get my visa picture for Ethiopia before the shop closes!
God bless you,

I think I may have just died...
To myself over this past month.
Dying to self is something I'm STARTING to grasp.
But I also died a little bit, because I just found out that Benny Folds and Pomplamoose did a song together.
I'm really happy about that.
But things are so great here.
I'm doing a photoshoot this evening for raising awareness for Sex Trafficking. Please pray for me about that.
Also, if anyone has any instruments they don't want anymore, I felt like God said just ask, and I will provide.
SO... I'm asking!
But I hope all is well.
Be blessed and stay classy San Diago.

WOWWWWWWWW...
"So here's what happened..." would be what Detective Monk would say, BUT I'm going to use that phrase for the day.
I got to Germany nice and happy for the go go about five weeks ago. That was great. Just getting here and not having to carry my luggage all over the place.
Then the next week came along, after having to sleep in a box for the first night. Donna spoke for the duration of two weeks. That was intense. She spoke on hearing God's voice and responding to it.
The third week was classes and just getting used to photography, which I have already had some experience with. That was nice to coast through.
The fourth week was pertaining to "minding the gap" and reaching out to those in need. Either spiritually or physically.
Just this last week has been about being a leader, and we went to Switzerland for the 50th Anniversary of YWAM.
This week I've just been hanging out, and letting Jesus change me into the man of God he has appointed me to be.
That is allllllllllll for now.
Thanks for being patient.

Lots has happened!
Where to begin, again... haha.
I switched to Analog.
I have to get up at 7 AM every morning.
I walk 3 miles a day.
I honestly don't know how to update you guys on all the stuff that has been happening to me in the past week, but it's amazing here.
It's a lot to get used to, but I'm gettin' there... I'll eventually get in the swing of things.
But I must get going.
Enjoy your day, and thanking you for donating and supporting.

FINALLLLLLLLLY!
I'm in Germany...
Sorry it's been a week.
I am quite glad that I am here.
Too much has happened within the last six days.
First night - Slept in a box, and talked in my sleep.
Second day - Hung out with people and Jesus.
and the rest of the days, are just too good to describe. Because they've all blended in.
I'm hearing God's voice clearer, and clearer EACH day. God is so good.
I can't fathom how I got here. Thank you so much for your support.
Please give me your address if you'd like a letter.
BUT it will take forever to SEND...
Anyway.
Love you guys,
Malcolm McAfee
